One of the most potent psilocybin-containing mushrooms in the world. Produces exceptionally high levels of psilocybin and psilocin.

ECOLOGY & HABITAT

Grows in sandy coastal soils, often among dune grasses and driftwood in the Pacific Northwest.

CULTURAL CONTEXT

Known for its caramel-colored cap and extremely high alkaloid content (sometimes exceeding 2% combined indoles by dry weight).
